Do not serve a large portion of food on your plate. Having the right portion is good. If you feel short changed during meal times, use a smaller plate. It will still look the same visually, however, the volume will have reduced. This way you will not feel cheated.
You need to have a good attitude and mindset about food and fitness in order to succeed. While you use mind tricks with the small plate and play with your perception on the amount of food that you have, apply other methods which will help you along the way.
You must understand and accept that while you can eat what you want, whenever you want, you also have the option of being fit and healthier and stay disciplined.
